A proposed two stage wind farm development, totalling 1100MW and associated 123Klm grid transmission line connection at Yadnarie on the Eyre Peninsula. The proposed transmission line is further planned to host a new fibre optic telecommunications back-bone.
Tungketta Hill Farm when operational will via its 60% Site Capacity Factor produce sufficient energy to energise approx 700000 homes and support new industries such as Green Hydrogen production via 196 Turbines with hub heights of approx 120m.
Substantial investments to date within R&D and land acquisition extending to the turn of the century, place this unique development at the leading edge of technology and of substantial economic benefit to South Australia.

The coastal stretch of land rises sharply in 60 – 120m high cliffs which gently slope away to heights of 50-70m near the Flinders Highway.
The exposed nature of the cliff line means the Tungketta Hill wind farm site records some of Australia's best wind capacity resource.
